New Report from the North Pole

with Dr. Walt Meier

Research Scientist

www.nsidc.org

Remember the predictions that the Arctic Sea Ice could be completely gone by the year 2100? Well think again, because reports released this week indicate that that number may be way off. With the most severe loss of ice in recorded history, the rate of melt is significantly higher than anyone had predicted. Hear what Dr. Meiers is saying about the causes of this rapid increase in melt, and what this may actually mean.

Be sure to listen to this show!
